The Citizen Jane Film Festival is a celebration of Independent Film by Independent Women. Beginning on October 4th, this outstanding event brings in filmmakers and fans from across the country and around the world to experience the power of cinema.
The festival is intimate, diverse and thought-provoking, and it’s all in an easy, walkable footprint in downtown Columbia and on the Stephens College campus.

Women in Music Showcase
Come down to the Bridge after the opening night film on Friday night to hear local women cover Journey! A great evening filled with music from the finest female musicians in Columbia, Missouri. The event will be hosted by CoMo Girls Rock!, an organization dedicated to empowering girls through creative expression, musical exploration and performance. Performances from Shirelle & the Hot Raxx, Rae Fitzgerald, Penny & The Farthingtons, Sunshine Mamas and Dubb Nubb will be sure to delight your ears!
