Here’s a quick guide to live music in CoMo this week:
Tuesday
- If you’re into bluesy rock, check out the Kenny Wayne Shepherd Band at The Blue Note at 8 PM, $25.
Wednesday
- Need an excuse to break out your cowboy boots? The Jase Ryan Band and Jordan Heckemeyer will be at The Bridge at 8 PM, $5.
- Jesse Cook will be at The Blue Note 8 PM, $25. His style of music is considered “rumba flamenco” with added influences from music all over the world.
- Are you a fan of the Black Keys? Check out Oil Boom (they have been compared to The Black Keys) with Monte Carlos at Mojo’s 9:30 PM, $5.
Thursday:
- Artie’s Univibe will provide rock hits from the late 60′s and early 70′s to go with your Creole cuisine at Jazz, A Louisiana Kitchen, starting at 6:30 PM.
- For fans of bluegrass, Indie, and acoustic, stop by Mojo’s at 9 PM to see Sunshine Mamas, Geoff Koch, Violet Vonder Haar and Colin LaVaute, and Molly Trull, $5.
Friday:
- Hear some good ol’ down-home music from the Ozark Mountain Daredevils, Mark Bilyeu, and Cindy Woolf at Missouri Theatre 7 PM, $32-76.
- Check out the Lost Dog Street Band at Cafe Berlin 9 PM, $5.
- For something a little more hardcore, check out metal band, Like Moths to Flames, with Palisades, Elitist, and Nevalra at The Blue Note 6:30 PM, $13-15.
- Representing Missouri “stompgrass,” The Hatrick will be at Mojo’s with The Flood Brothers and The Brody Buster Band, 7:30 PM $6.
Saturday:
- Boone County Tick Pickers will be playing all your favorites from the 20s and 30s at Jazz, A Louisiana Kitchen, 6:30.
- “Alternative,” “Indie Folk Rock,” and “Americana” describes Coyote Union, Commonfolk, and Rae Fitzgerald, respectively. See them at The Bridge at 8 PM, $5.
Sunday:
- Wrap up your weekend at Cooper’s Landing where Pippa Letsky (2 PM) and Lee Ruth (6 PM) will be performing.
