It’s the festival Columbia’s been waiting for!
It’s officially fall, and that means it’s time for Roots N Blues N BBQ! The festival starts Friday, September 27 and ends Sunday, September 29 at Stephens Lake Park. Here is everything you need to know to do this festival right!
Map of the Festival
Download the RNBNBBQ app for maps and information. You can even see the lineup and “star” your favorites!
Ticket sales end Friday, September 27, and they come in the form of wristbands. Wristbands help make the RNBNBBQ experience safe, convenient and sustainable. The wristbands have Cashless Payment Technology, and they serve as your ticket and wallet at the fest. Money can be loaded onto your wristband on the RNBNBBQ site and at Top Up stations around the fest. These wristbands will be the only form of payment allowed at the fest.
Free festival shuttles will run round trips to and from Downtown Columbia. You can park in any of the downtown parking garages and hop on the shuttle to be transported directly to the festival gates. Shuttles start one hour before the gates open each day. Parking in Garages is free after 6 p.m. on Friday and all day Saturday and Sunday. ADA Accessible buses are available.
Ride your bike to support the fest’s sustainability efforts. Check out the City of Columbia bike mapopens PDF file and take one of the routes to the festival. Then, park your bike in the free secure bike parking area at the festival entrance.
Walk from downtown since the festival entrance is about a mile from downtown. At a leisurely pace, it’s about a 16-minute walk. Follow Walnut Street East all the way to the festival. All pedestrians are required to use the crosswalks for safety.
Festival Food & Fun
There are several food vendors attending RNBNBBQ, and there will be craft vendors as well.
We are looking forward to the festival this weekend and hope to see you there!
