Aidin Hill is a Freshman at the University of Kansas studying organ performance under Dr. James Higdon. He started piano lessons at the age of six and took on organ lessons at the age of eleven when he began to play for his home parish of St. Patrick Catholic Church in small-town Kingman, Kansas.
Aidan has competed in competitions for both piano and organ and has won multiple scholarships and first prize titles, including winner of the Wichita Metropolitan Music Teachers Association’s Piano Concerto Competition and the American Guild of Organists (AGO) Wichita Chapter Level Regional Contest for Young Organists (RCYO); Aidan went on to finish second at the regional RCYO competition this last summer in Milwaukee. He has participated in numerous AGO Pipe Organ Encounters, played for a number of weddings, and enjoys writing his own works. Aside from his music, Aidan is an avid model railroader and spent thirteen years in 4-H participating in the Swine, Foods, Fine Arts, and Rocketry divisions at the County and State levels.
