Launch the holiday season with two musical gems from two remarkable composers: J.S. Bach and Margaret Bonds. Bach’s sparkling Magnificat announces the Christmas holiday, while American composer Margaret Bonds combines with Missouri native Langston Hughes to provide a new perspective on the Nativity while incorporating influences of jazz and spirituals. Don’t miss this Missouri premiere of The Ballad of the Brown King!
