Are you still looking for New Year’s Eve plans? Here is a list of events going on in Columbia tomorrow night.

Join us for a New Year’s Eve Block Party on 9th street between Elm and Locust in The District, downtown Columbia where culture is celebrated and community is created! Eve Fest is an alcohol-free, celebration of the New Year with music, art, ritual, and festivity.

New Year’s Eve is an opportunity to celebrate the passing of time and the promise of the future. In that spirit, we’re throwing a raging New Years dance party celebrating 100 years of dance music, the promise of music still to come and better yet: a freshly remodeled Blue Note! This is Columbia’s biggest New Year’s Dance Party, complete with a midnight champagne toast. ($10)

From all of us here at the Columbia Convention and Visitors Bureau, we want to thank you for visiting Columbia this year. We love to welcome our visitors with open arms and give them an experience they can always remember. In 2012, changes like Mizzou moving to the Southeastern Conference meant new stream of fresh visitors were able to enjoy all Columbia has to offer.

As we move toward 2013, we’re excited for more changes in the coming year. We’re planning big things like a new brand, a new website, the Columbia Tourism Ambassadors program and more. Each big project is for you, the visitor. You can be sure when the clock strikes 12 on New Year’s we’ll be ready to make Columbia the best destination it can be. We hope you’ll visit.
