It’s almost game time, Tigers!

The Mizzou Tigers kick off this Saturday, September 21, at 3 p.m. at Memorial Stadium against the South Carolina Gamecocks.

PRE-GAME INFORMATION

Looking for a hotel room?

Transportation:

  • Park downtown (parking garages are free on Saturdays) and walk to the stadium
  • Park downtownopens PDF file  and catch a shuttle to the stadium
  • Check to see if your hotel is on a shuttle route

Be prepared:

Follow the bag policy; the following options are allowed into the stadium:

  • Bags must be clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC and not exceeding 12″ x 6″ x 12″
  • One-gallon, clear plastic freezer bags
  • Small clutch bags that do not exceed 4.5″ x 6.5″
  • An institutionally approved logo no larger than 4.5″ x 3.4″ on one side of permissible clear bag

TAILGATE

Tailgating Notes

  • Tailgating sites open at 8 a.m.
  • Tiger Walk occurs 2 hours and 30 minutes before kick off – this year Tiger Walk will begin at the corner of Mick Deaver and Champions Dr.
  • The stadium opens 90 minutes before kick off
  • Keep any pets on a leash
  • Drones are not allowed to be flown on campus
  • If you don’t have your own, ask a parking attendant for a free blue recycling bag
  • Make sure you have designated drivers if you serve alcohol at your tailgate
  • Just follow the rules and have fun!

Shyrocks Farm Corn Maze

Shyrocks Farm Corn Maze – September 20 – 21 at Shyrocks Callaway Farms, 2927 County Road 253. The 2019 Corn Maze is a tribute and celebration of the beautiful landmarks across the United States. As a producer-only market, everything sold here is offered by farmers and artisans who help sustain our region. SNAP (food stamps) are accepted at all markets. Live music, gardening workshops and children’s activities are featured at every market! Join us in rain or shine!

Heritage Festival & Craft Show – September 21 – 22 from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. at the Historic Nifong Park, 3700 Ponderosa Street. Traditional tradesmen & artisans demonstrating “lost arts”. Live entertainment on three stages a variety of genres including Celtic, Blues, Cajun, Folk, Western, Bluegrass, traditional storytellers and magicians. Cowboys with their chuckwagons. Mountain Man Camp. Fun for Young’uns Area (stilts, paper pumpkins, milk the “cow,” rope making, candle dipping, candy in the haystack, hayrides, and much more!). Visitors will be taken back to the traditions of the past. Listen, learn, and see history as it comes alive.
