Next to Normal

Winner of three 2009 Tony Awards, including Best Musical Score and the 2010 Pulitzer Prize, Next to Normal explores how one suburban household copes with crisis and mental illness. What appears to be a typical American family is living a life that is anything but normal because the mother has been battling manic depression for 16 years. This deeply moving piece is an emotional powerhouse set to an energetic pop/rock score, as it takes the audiences into the minds and hearts of each character, presenting their family’s story of love, grief, and emotional healing.

Curtain for Thursday, Friday and Saturday shows are at 7:30pm. Sunday matinees are at 2:00pm. The box office opens approximately one hour prior to curtain. The house will open 30 minutes prior to curtain.
