Rosalie Metro is an anthropologist of education who explores the conflicts around history, identity and language. Her fiction debut, Have Fun in Burma: A Novel, will fascinate anyone interested in places where the truth is a bitterly contested territory. This coming-of-age story draws on Metro’s nearly 20 years of travels to Southeast Asia. Metro holds a PhD from Cornell University, and is a Professor in the College of Education at the University of Missouri.
