The Missouri Symphony Society is dedicated to enhancing and increasing the cultural awareness of classical music in the mid-Missouri area by presenting high-caliber performances by professional musicians and encouraging and educating young performing artists. Through donations and sponsorships, the Society presents the annual Hot Summer Nights Festival – the premier music festival in Columbia. The six-week festival features spectacular concerts from the Missouri Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Maestro Kirk Trevor and special guests. The series offers something for everyone with affordable prices and an array of music from Mozart to Broadway to family concerts.
