Joining over 100 destination marketing organizations across the country, the Columbia Convention and Visitors Bureau is thrilled to be an official Certified Tourism Ambassador destination!

CTAs strive to give every visitor to Columbia a memorable and positive experience. Columbia has always been known for being warm, friendly and welcoming, so now we’re taking it to the next level. We’ll be certifying front-line hospitality workers and tourism enthusiasts from all over mid-Missouri to be knowledgeable, to exceed customer expectations and to keep people coming back.

The next time you’re in town, keep you eyes open for people wearing the gold star CTA pin. Anyone wearing one has been specially trained and certified to help your visit be the best it possibly can.
